Knot Roughin’ It Charters, LLC offers the finest halibut fishing within Prince William Sound. We are a family and Alaskan owned charter/guide service. We operate from the small community of Whittier , Alaska, just a short 60 miles south of Anchorage. Whittier is known as the '"Western Gateway to Prince William Sound" and is also the closest halibut fishing port to Anchorage. Alaska

Knot Roughin' It Charters operates a USCG 5 Star Safety Rated Vessel named "Patriot Express". The Patriot Express
is a 2008 Boulton Explorer and comfortably fishes six anglers. She is
built for comfort, speed and along with the pristine calm waters of
Prince William Sound, our USCG licensed Captain's will provide you
with a enjoyable and memorable experience. We also offer a heated
enclosed cabin for your comfort.

The Patriot Express is also equipped with redundant top of the line electronics to include chartplotters, fish finders and includes radar. The Patriot Express is safely operated by either USCG 100ton licensed Capt's Jack Roskind and/or Ed Sleater and First Mate Ryan Ferdinand.

Both were very experienced and knew exactly where we should be to catch the halibut we did. They joked and carried on with our family which fit right into our normal days. after species of fish. We can swap from halibut gear to salmon gear in
a matter of minutes to ensure we are able to take advantage of all
fishing opportunities.
